Gruntal is an old firm, whose name was based on the last name of the founder.
By breaking the name into two parts, the word “grunt” was revealed,
and, combined with the “Hard at work. Since 1880” tagline it became the
basis for a tongue-in-cheek way of telling customers that Gruntal
advisors are willing to go the extra mile.
